Grr...I hate adware the most.

me!!!! my whole computer shut down and we lost almost everything on it because of spam and stuff. we got a virus!

Thats why i dumped windows and uses ubuntu linux now, no need for anti-virus or ant-spyware --%26gt; it doesn't excist. And no like they "don't excist" on a mac. On linux there are really 0 viruses ad spyware/adware/malware ...
thats y i dont use pc. oh and to bill you are mistaken linux can be hacked- root can be compromised. just not as easy as a pc or did you forget that mac and linux are both based on bsd
i hate all the virues it make problems to my pc
Most people hate these. The only people I can think that don't would be:

1) The creators of said software/techniques

2) The people who create applications to defend against these.

3) The people who support recovery from these.

Out of all of these, I find hackers and virus writers to be the most annoying. Adware and Spyware are pretty easily avoided with careful Internet browsing and not installing all those "free" applications available out there (i.e. only install trusted applications from reputable sources).

bill goldberg - While I can appreciate moving off Microsoft (I do UNIX administration/development), making statements that Linux or Mac are adware, spyware, virus, or hacker free is completely untrue. They do occur far less than on Microsoft Windows, but they do exist. We use McAfee on all our systems, including our Solaris and Red Hat Linux systems.

The ones I hate the most are the Anti-Virus programs that put something on your computer then want you to buy their product to remove it.
