Since there are no released MacOs X viruses, at the current time, no you can't get one. That's not to say someone won't write one or the malware that can affect MacOs X (one version) wouldn't be attached. But you have to agree to download it, agree to install it and put in your password.

Sure, why couldn't they? The issue is that fewer people use macs so fewer viruses are geared toward affecting them. That doesn't mean that no Limewire users are infected with Mac viruses or don't try to spread them.
Be careful and virus check anything you download.
