Why did God create viruses?

Because you cannot appreciate health without sickness.

Just like we'd never know how good heaven really was, without living on this crappy rock.

Virus was good just as snakes were good.

Not only did God create viruses, later he would create the cure by touching the mind's of people like Jonas Salk.

So why create Polio if he's just going to create the cure later?

God work's in mysterious ways.

Maybe viruses are God's greatest and most favored creation. Maybe God created us only as food and breeding grounds for viruses! Single celled organisms were the first and have always been the most constant and most prevalent form of life. Complex organisms like us are the freaks of nature which appear and disappear through time (like failed experiments) out of the great mass of the single-cells.

I do not know. All I know is that God does not cause suffering. He does not punish you with suffering. He allows suffering to happen in the world so that people will help each other and learn valuable lessons about tolerance, being a neighbor, faith and trust.
Obviously to get rid of all the heathens thats the only reason he does anything right?
I don't think he did,that is most likely Satan's work.It would have to be for good if God created it.

Viruses come about naturally - they are not 'created' by God for petes sake! Why do people want to BLAME GOd for everything in the universe BAD that happens.
