um, yes, you can delete it but u must do it fast, viruses can get out of almost everything. and how many downloads have you had in a while? usually downloads contain viruses and are usually stored in a temp file

If a folder is called temporary, its probly been placed there by a virus.

normally a temporary folder is called TEMP.

keep scanning though make sure you get all of them, and your scanner should delete them for you.

If the folder is empty, go ahead and delete it.. if not, find out what files are in it, see what theyre for, if theyre not needed, delete them aswell
temporary folder is a folder to store a file from the internet temporarily. The files are called 'temporay files'. These files are usually needed to install or run something you are using on the internet. When you are finished, these files are actually useless. If you no longer need the files, you may delete them. They're useless after all. In fact, I used to clear my temporary folder weekly. That should keep my computer safe and save more space.
No, don't delete it.
