Do mac's get viruses ?systemworks

Yes, all operating systems can get viruses, however MAC's are so much safer because fewer viruses are written for MAC's. If you were a malicious virus writer which operating system would you write for?:

The MAC - fewer users than the PC, and most users know what they are doing

The PC - Loads of users world wide, kids who don't have a clue and click any old popups and download anything, therefore, more chance of the virus getting onto a machine and logging their parent's credit card details! :o)

That's why there are so few viruses for the MAC.

Do mac's get viruses ?windows

Yes, Mac's can and do get viruses, just they don't get near as many as PC's using Windows.

Most viruses are written for the Microsoft operating systems, because it is far more widely used than any other operating system.

Linux for example is also far safer in terms of viruses, than a Microsoft Windows program.
Its not impossible. But it doesn't ever happen. Doesn't mean that i won't - but it doesn't now.
yup macs do

but not many people have macs not many viruses are found in

macs

and if macs do get a virus

how do u get rid of it?

norton wont work on a mac lol
Nope, or not that i know. Look at their commercial.
Can a Mac get viruses... I think a couple of guys have proven that they can. Do people write viruses for Macs... not really. I run Norton on my Macs at home and always have. One time I printed the list of viruses that my computer was protected from. And out of the hundreds listed, one was specifically written for the Mac.

I don't look at that as a reason to get a Mac, but like icing on a cake.
