How do people create viruses?

Step 1. Learn a programming language

Step 2. Find something in a computer you want to break

Step 3. Write a program that will damage that bit of programming/software/reg key/etc and will replicate itself. The most maelovent viruses damage key files for running your operating system.

For those who may wonder: no, I have not ever intentionally written a computer program that did harm to the computer.

I'm not sure, but they would have to be smart to do it I would imagine.

if people answer your question, they also can create viruses

it is not easy to explain....but the software companies don't recommend creating it...
Some people know computer software language writing skills. Like Visual Basic, C++, Java and many other languages like that. And basicly the computer understands commands through this language. And some people misuse this good skill in a wrong way by making programmes that do wrong things. Eg: a wrong code like deleteing a specific type of file, let's say .mp3 will make the computer scan files wih an .mp3 extension and that will delete all the mp3 files. This is the way how viruses are created. This was just an example to make you understand,
I actually wonder why anyone would bother, rather than how.
They are well versed in computer programming, They make a program to carry out commands that a person that receives the virus, will execute.= Opening a file, shutting down the computer.. etc.
a virus is like any other program. however, in order for it to be considered a virus, it must replicate on its own and manipulate other code/files. the word hacker does not refer to someone with malicious intent, it defines someone who is better at computers and programming than the average person/programmer/network admin.

So, to answer your question, you create a virus by programming with any programming language.
