Get some good antivirus protection. go to google, download their "Google Pack" and run a daily scan through their spyware doctor. it's a good program. i use it and haven't had any problems since. I went to yahoo, typed in google pack, and BAM, there ya go.

In addition to getting virus software placed in your computer, the rule of thumb is: if you don't know the person sending attachments, it is better to not open it.
