I think people who create viruses do it for noteriety. They want their virus to be the one talked about in the newspapers. Virus programmers are just people who are trying to be creative, just as hackers see a challenge in breaking into a system, a virus programmer has the same sense of challenge in creating a virus. The challenge is creating a virus that spread to thousands of computers overnight. If only they'd put the efforts into something more helpful to the world.

Well when they do it on purpose, they are just morons! Sometimes it happens because they didn't even know they had a virus to begin with.

Most people don't know that they are spreading virus ... the origins of a virus come from someone who does it only because they can and think they have a point to prove.
It's such a waste of time and effort involved in keeping this garbage off our computers. Such a shame.
If they are knowingly doing it, their life must really suck and want others to suffer!!!
they just do it when there bored really sad i know nut some times they do it accidentally like sending a email when they go a virus on their computer
