Do you think computer viruses should count as life ?

I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

Do you think computer viruses should count as life ?software

Oh crud - so depressing and so true. Especially the malware bots which are a total menace and really do have a life of their own - not to mention zombie net! - gheezh. I used to check out new computer security software and procedures once a year to defend myself online - now I do this once a month and I'm still barely keeping up. I guess this applies to biological weapons too. Some people suspect that AIDs may be a man-made disease that escaped from the lab due to improper procedures - or was even deliberately released. What is wrong with us? All that skill and intelligence - and this is what people choose to do with it.

you know...even biological viruses are being debated by scientists whether or not they are living organisms.

so if it's computer viruses, surely it's not a living organism.

dont misunderstood about computer viruses.

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user.
