How do we report a website which has infected my computer with viruses?

was searching on google and I clicked on a site on the first page of google and it said please wait being redirected then it said your computer has been infected with a virus and you might lose all your data. shouldn't google be responsible for this as they have their spiders checking websites all the time how did they allow such a site to be ranked on the first page? Who do I complain to? Does anyone know?

Google does have such a feature:

You can either submit a spam report to tell Google about any site that violates their Webmaster Guidelines (including installing unwanted programs on your computer).:

You may also file a complaint with StopBadware.org if you feel you were deceived when you installed a program that creates popups or modifies your browser. StopBadware.org provides users with tools and information to help stop the spread and influence of malicious spyware on their computers and the internet.
