Mac computers can definitely get viruses too, so do Linux computers. The only reason which Microsoft OS is the target of more viruses is because it is more widely-used than other platforms around the world.
To prevent mac computers contacting viruses, remember to keep your Anti-Virus Protection Up-to-date and at least do a weekly scan (this applies to other platforms too). Therefore even if there's viruses, actions could be taken faster.

WARNING: do NOT click on any links put up by ANGEL OF THE MORNING STAR. the links spread viruses. he has posted one of the following links as an answer for this question:
www.ifuckedjesus.com
www.thetriadboys.com
www.killerantivirus.com
all of these links cause viruses. he may change his name, so just be careful with suspect links.
They can get them, any computer can.
It has nothing to do with Intel Inside now, the processor has nothing to do with vulnerability to malicious code.
I'm sure some kid somewhere is working on a virus for OS X. After all, who wouldn't want to be the first to bring down what, up until now, has proven to be a pretty dang secure and stable OS?
There are indeed viruses for Mac, not as many as PC viruses. Viruses are intended to cause the most impact to the general public and since there are more PCs than Macs, naturally, there are more PC viruses than Mac viruses.
