It's not actually the site that can cause you grief, it's the P2P file sharing that can kill your computer. Anytime you grant access to your computer to anyone, let alone thousands of people, you will get hit with a virus sooner or later.
Does Limewire contain spyware/adware/viruses? How bout LimeWire Pro? Does Frostwire?norton
Many times they do.
Almost all file sharing is stealing.
If you stole from a store, you would be arrested.
What makes downloading different?
Do you work for free?
Why should anyone else?
If someone is willing to steal, how much more likely are they to get greedy and try to include spyware, virus, keyloggers, whatever will make them a buck?

if you dont know what ur doing and have experience just plan on getting a virus with p2p apps ... make sure you have everything backed up good ... imo its worth it .. and you'll be an expert reformatter in no time ... :)
Nope. Nope, hmm Nope.
Try sharebear...really nice and for what Ive seen
it downloads faster than limewire. A lot more people
are connected to it Its free too. A nice little thing is
that it allows you to download FULL cds
limewire the application itself doesn't if you download it from their site
the things you download off of limewire are filled with viruses/spyware though
if you don't have good antivirus, don't bother with limewire
Well the program itself doesn't contain viruses. Only when people share files over the network has viruses most of the time. Never download anything from the program that's 1 MB (miga bytes) or less.
yes,but not as much as kazaa.if u have a quality virus preventer like norton or mcafee, you can overide those harmful threats.i use limewire and its pretty safe if you know what your doing.i dont have limewire pro.
