Not the software itself but MOST .exe files (like games and programs) have viruses but music (mp3, wma) CAN'T have viruses. And most vids don't have them so overall its safe...just DON'T get software. Or if you do, scan the files with multiple scanners. Don't listen to people who tell you it will give you viruses because they're just a bunch of anti-p2p morons
Yes. Not only does it give you viruses and spywares, it opens up ports to the internet that should be blocked. These open ports allow unscrupulous hackers to break in to your computer and install software on it without your knowledge. (For those who doubt, I do stuff like this at work just to prove it can be done so we can create security to stop it)
Yes. It has not given everyone viruses, but if you continue to download from them there is a HIGH chance that you will get one.

Remember downloading music from limewire is ILLEGAL, and it is not recommended. Why not pay for your songs?!?!

ALSO, getting pro does not make it legal. It just allows you to download more songs at once. It is 100% illegal.

it can if you dont be careful..actually limewire its self does NOT give you that stuff..its the files you download that gives you virus/spyware etc etc.my best advice is get a anti virus program.
