You sound like a sadist. lol JK. To remove a virus infection, you must identify the virus. Considering there are 500K + virus out there Buying $40 software seems real feasible. However, if you know what virus you have, you can look it up on Symantec or Mcafee's website and they will tell you the manual steps to remove it. It can get really invovled and time consumming.
